Lynda Stammer, Director of Staffing/Partner

 

Lynda first joined availABILITY in 1986 as a Placement Specialist.  With her career and education in Accounting and then Sales Management, it was an easy transition to make some of the best Accounting Placements and Recruitments in the Valley.  In 1991, along with her business partner Nancy Rasmussen, Lynda co-purchased availABILITY.  Lynda continued to manage availABILITY'S Placement division as well as adding three new divisions. Lynda's love is recruiting and receives more reward from discovering that most difficult “find” than almost anything else.

Chris J. Peterson, Business Development/Partner

 

Chris is a graduate of Turlock High School and then went on to San Jose State University where he obtained a business management degree in 1982.  In the 80’s, he worked in the road construction industry as a Credit Manager in San Jose.  Later he moved back to the Central Valley where he has spent 20 years in the office/business products industry marketing business machines, office supplies, and services throughout the Central Valley.   Over the past decade, Chris focused on business development and successfully grew sales over 230% through strategic sales and marketing practices.  Chris became a partner in availABILITY Personnel Services in January 2011.  He is heading up all of the sales, marketing, and business development programs.  chris@aps-hr.com


Nancy Rasmussen, Finance/Partner

Nancy first joined availABILITY in 1979 as the company's Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper.  Soon after she took over the temporary division, ABILITY TEMPS and has taken it to where it is today; one of Modesto's most successful staffing firms.   In 1991, along with her business partner Lynda Stammer, Nancy co-purchased availABILITY.   As a working owner, Nancy does what she likes best and has never called her position “a job”; it is her “life”.  nancy@aps-hr.com


Rebecca James, HR Consultant/Trainer 

Offering over 19 years of experience, Rebecca heads up availABILITY's division HR SERVICES. Rebecca obtained her BS in Business Administration/Human Resources in 1991 at CSU Stanislaus.  Since graduating she has gained experience in union and non union, manufacturing, food processing and professional environments as the Director of Human Resources. Through her diverse knowledge she is helping businesses of all sizes reduce liability through the HR function; employee relations, handbooks, investigations, job descriptions and legal compliance to name a fewrebecca@aps-hr.com

 


Candace Abell, Health Care Placement Specialist

 

Candace joined availability in 2007 managing the HEALTH CARE SERVICES division.  After 25 years in health care placement arena, Candace still receives great satisfaction in finding “just what the doctor ordered” for both the candidates and employers. candace@aps-hr.com

 


 

Cindy Tuers, Testing Specialist/HR Coordinator

 

Cindy first joined availABILITY as our Testing Coordinator in 2007, bringing with her over 10 years of Customer Service experience.  She had an instant connection with both applicants and clients that came from her sincere desire to please.   It wasn't hard to realize that Cindy had the energy and spirit required to be a successful Placement Specialist.
